This pair was first spotted together when filming their new film, The Place Beyond the Pines. Lake house

The Lake House has to be one of the best romantic movies produced, it was released in 2006 and stars the famous Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock. The film was based on a Korean film called II Mare.

Notting Hill

This film is a romantic comedy set in London, starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant. It was released in May 1999 and is still just as well known today. The film was nominated for and won awards such as a Brit Award for the sound track and also won a BAFTA.

Pretty Woman

Pretty women is a famous romantic comedy starring Julia Roberts, it was set in Los Angeles. The film was released in 1990 and slowly became one of the bestselling films that year.

Dear John

Dear John was released in 2010 and is a romantic comedy about a girl that falls in love with a man that has to be sent off to war. It stars Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried. The film is based on a Novel written by Nicholas Sparks.

Love Actually

Love actually starring many well-known actors and actresses such as Colin Firth, Keira Knightly, Alan Rickman and Hugh Grant to name a few. It is a Romantic Comedy set around Christmas time and is defiantly a must see.

Autumn, also known as fall, marks the transition from summer to winter. It can seem like a slightly depressing time for many of us, as we say goodbye to the sunshine and some good memories. They say that autumn is the ‘season of gentle decay’, as the leaves die and fall off the trees; the possibilities of summer are gone, and the chill of winter is on the horizon. Skies turn grey, and many people turn inward, both physically and mentally. But that doesn’t mean that your love life needs to die.

There are many great things you can do for a date at this time of year. It may be getting nippier outside but the surroundings can be beautiful; the trees become different shades of red and orange before they all fall off.

Big parks will have plenty footpaths you can take for a wonder, which may be covered in orange leaves but will certain add a little romance into the atmosphere. This is a great time to hike; the weather’s a little cooler, and there are a lot less bugs flying around- so no unnecessary disturbances.

If you’re feeling a little lazier- and have a car- you could go for a drive in the country. The settings will sure to be beautiful.
